About Coach

His career includes stops in Taylor, Austin, and Pflugerville. He is currently the Law Enforcement Instructor at Cedar Ridge HS but has taught all 4 core subjects, technology, AVID, and Special Ed as well as coached multiple sports including golf, basketball, soccer, baseball, and swimming.  He has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Walden University and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio. He is a UIL basketball referee and works as the director of a basketball camp during the summer. Before becoming a teacher, he was a social worker, golf instructor, business manager, and Juvenile Probation Officer. He has lived in the Round Rock area with his wife for more than 30 years and has a 29-year-old son with a grandchild on the way.
